In section 3.1.11 [1], It's mentioned, "Currently Debian offers security updates for testing but not for unstable", which I think no longer correct. Testing gets security support from whole project effort; there is no one specifically providing security support for Testing, like "Security Team" does for "stable" and "old-stable". Testing distribution contains exactly same packages as of "unstable", after they gets qualified for "testing" distribution.
