The problem is, I don't know if malsync supports secure connections. A quick glance through the source code doesn't give any indications of using any type of SSL library. The only thing remotely related I saw is in malsync.c, in the loadSecLib function. If I've read that correctly though, in order to use that I would have to provide my own implementations of the AG networking code that uses SSL. Also, I noticed that Tom's website at http://www.tomw.org is down, which is troubling. I'll try emailing Tom and ask about secure connections, but he hasn't answered the last several emails I've sent.
