Hi,
I believe that has to do with this bug:https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/issues/3952 currently script used to rotate fails: invoke-rc.d rsyslog rotate Closing open files: rsyslogd failed! I also believe it is related to bug #831764 Currently removing -iNONE "fixes" it, altho I'm not sure whether that's a proper solution. We had the case where it caused rsyslog to run out of open files because rotate was never called and due to config (it's a log aggregator from many devices written) eventually it just has a ton of unclosed files open and stops getting new connections, so it is a pretty severe problem. -- Mariusz Gronczewski (XANi) <xani...@gmail.com> GnuPG: 0xEA8ACE64
