aide-common is shipping the config file /usr/share/aide/config/aide/aide.conf.d/70_aide_proc_sys (installed as /etc/aide/aide.conf.d/70_aide_proc_sys) with these two rules: !/proc !/sys The intention is to remove /proc and /sys from the checks, but they are missing a terminating "$" character. As is, they will also exclude anything that starts with /proc or /sys, like /system or /procedures. The same happens with aide from experimental, version 0.16.2-1.
