As shown on
https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=ibus-libpinyin ,
currently ibus-libpinyin FTBFS on armel armhf and mipsel due to errors
around Lua in tests:

ibus-libpinyin 1.4.0

Since previous version did not enable lua plugin, I am not sure whether
this is a bug in lua (lua5.4 currently using), in ibus-libpinyin, in
GLib or whether this is an architecture-specific issue. Any help would
be appreciated.

Thanks,
