Package: coreutils Version: 8.32-4+b1 Followup-For: Bug #675076 Hi,
I experience the same issue on a quite newly installed system. > kill -USR1 <pid of dd> does not output anything. Only at the end of the dd run I get the 'normal' summary. > $ debsums coreutils | grep dd > /bin/dd > OK > /usr/share/man/man1/dd.1.gz > OK I experienced this on another of my systems as well in the past, I will verify the issue on the other systems in the next days. regards (and happy new year) m -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (504, 'unstable'), (503, 'testing'), (502, 'experimental'), (1, 'experimental-debug') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages coreutils depends on: ii libacl1 2.2.53-9 ii libattr1 1:2.4.48-6 ii libc6 2.31-6 ii libgmp10 2:6.2.1+dfsg-1 ii libselinux1 3.1-2+b2 coreutils recommends no packages. coreutils suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
