First of all: thank you VERY much for working on chromium in Debian! With the new version in stable-security, when I open a second window by pressing Ctrl-N or Ctrl-Shift-N, all browser windows (even the first) stop redrawing and appear frozen. The browser actually still responds to input, the cursor changes if I mouseover different things, the right-click menu appears and works fine, only the browser windows never redraw. I can force it to redraw by resizing the window, but it stays frozen the rest of the time. If I disable hardware acceleration, the problem goes away and everything seems to work normally. I am not running any desktop environment, just "awesome" as window manager. I'm also not running any X compositing manager such as xcompmgr.
