Probably. I choose to forget such details soon, else I'd spent half of
the day bragging on Debian planet "OMGeverythingisbroken ..."  =)


So if memory serves me right: Turn out, in the past the autopkgtest for
clevis was mostly a no-op, since it assumed the tangd binary in a place
where it actually was not. However, that did not lead to a failure, so
it went unnoticed.

Yesterdays upload of tang 7-3 ultimately changed tangd's location,
byproduct of upgrading to debhelper compat level 13. And now it's
reveiled the started tangd might fail, but then the test suite would
still attempt to connect to it, in an infinite loop, as you observed.
That was already fixed upstream, and clevis 15-4 should have all that is
necessary.

There are more issues in the test suite, so upload will take a little
longer until they are addressed..
