Like I said, this is not related to bridge-utils of course bridge-utils does
things, it sets up a bridge, but nothing more.

However to be able to create a bridge the kernel needs to have bridge
support and it if is not available the bridge module gets loaded, it is this
module which outputs this warning, that's it.

You can test this on any machine without even bridge-utils loaded, you do a
modprobe bridge and you'll get the kernel warning.
