Package: mutt Version: 2.0.2-1 Severity: wishlist Tags: upstream l10n Hello Debian mutt maintainers, I noticed that the German programm translation contains serveral problems and bad translation. I'm now reviewing the entire German translation together with a fellow
translator and the upstream (German) translator. We are progressing,
but there is still some way to go. Once finished, it will be
integrated into upstream.
The current version is *much* improved compared to the one currently
in upstream. During the review it will be further improved. So it
definitly is a large step forward (even if not yet completed).
Therefore I would like to see the de.po integrated into the next
stable release of Debian, even if not fully reviewed.
Would that be possible?
If so, when would be the deadline? I would provide you with the latest
version shortly before the deadline so that as much as possible fixes
are included.
Please also note that I already helped with mutt l10n aeons ago
(1.5.21-6.1), so I'm not new to the mutt package. (And of course I'm a
heavy user of mutt in German locale, which prompted me to start this
task). Furthermore I'm heavily involved in Debian l10n, well aware of
the standards and procedures.
