It seems that package xavante is still using lua5.1, which has been unmaintained by lua upstream for several years. According to http://keplerproject.github.io/xavante/ , the latest version of xavante should support lua up to lua5.3. Please consider switching to a newer lua implementation. Thanks, Boyuan Yang
