I tried to reproduce it but couldn't so far. I admit that there is no error handling for the failing creation of evdns_base, though. And I have a strange feeling that it might be connected to https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=983006 . Do you all have apparmor-profiles-extra installed? Best regards, Eduard.
