Package: gameconqueror
Version: 0.17-2
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation?
I installed gameconqueror and found that it wouldn't start at all.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
First I tried updating my system and restarting my computer, that did not
change anything.
After some searching online I found an issue page on the scanmem github
describing my issue and a workaround to run xhost +local: before starting the
program. The workaround works so the program no longer crashes on startup if I
remember to run xhost +local:.

Thank you for your time :)
