Package: gparted Version: 1.2.0-1 Severity: normal Hi,
a partition formatted with the exfat file system is flagged in the partition list with an exclamation mark. Information says "Warning: Unable to read the contents of this file system! Because of this some operations may be unavailable. The cause might be a missing software package. The following list of software packages is required for exfat file system support: exfatprogs." exfatprogs is installed. In an strace, I can see an execve for tune.exfat -l /dev/sdg1 which returns like: exfatprogs version : 1.1.0 label: zg2emerg I didn't see any obvious error in strace, and unfortunately gparted does not share what it has been trying to do to determine that it cannot read the file system.
