Package: debsums Version: 3.0.2 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
Per suggestion on #985281[1], it would be nice if debsums was
capable of reporting, that some files owned by a package have
been converted to a "dangling symbolic link". Currently, when
debsums hits such situation, it reports "missing file":
debsums: missing file
/usr/share/javascript/jquery-datatables-extensions/Buttons/js/dataTables.buttons.min.js
(from libjs-jquery-datatables-extensions package)
$ ls -l /usr/share/javascript/jquery-datatables-extensions/Buttons/js/
[...]
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 88 Feb 12 07:11 jquery.dataTables.min.css ->
../../../../../../../../share/javascript/jquery-datatables/css/jquery.dataTables.min.css
