I can confirm this, root cause seems to be using the sandbox of webkit. Issue: https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=202363 Workaround would be starting evolution like this: WEBKIT_FORCE_SANDBOX=0 evolution Until fixed, Webkit devs seems to recommend disabling the sandbox code.
