A FAI installation in an EFI boot environment does not succeed, because grub cannot write the EFI entries for booing the new isntalled system. And there's no clear error message about this problem. >From the shell.log: ===== shell: GRUB_EFI/10-setup ===== Installing for x86_64-efi platform. grub-install: warning: EFI variables are not supported on this system.. Installation finished. No error reported. Grub installed on /dev/nvme0n1 = (hostdisk//dev/nvme0n1) The kernel interface to the EFI variables was changed. Now FAI has to mount /sys/firmware/efi/efivars. Not yet sure if more things are missing. -- viele Grüße Thomas
