I've tested that a usb-c dock works (for the most part) with this patch
applied, so that's pretty exciting. Charging also worked, though not
necessarily when using the dock... though sometimes.

I have the impression the orientation of the usb-c connector *should
not* matter, but after flipping it all the usb-3 devices and ports on
the dock consistently started working...

I didn't notice this in the logs, but didn't check... will look at next
boot.

I did get audio out working via the audio jack after fiddling
haphazardly with the dozens of audio control sliders, but was unable to
get the microphone to work. I think I had to unmute the left and right
headphone mux or something. I got some sign that the speakers were
enabled when muting or unmuting (a little pop sound each time), but no
working audio.
