Package: src:python3-build Version: 0.1.0-3 Severity: important 0.1.0-3 started to depend on python3-pip. I don't think this is the correct solution for the Debian package, as it will pull in pip for nearly every package build in the future, defaulting to download/online mode by default.
In #978674, this dependency was added. I don't have a good solution yet, but what about considering to have a binary package operating in offline mode, and one in online mode, so that the offline mode package can be used as a build dependency by default for builds?
