Package: postfix
Version: 3.5.6-1+b1
Severity: normal

Hi,
i am one the few still using uucp on my notebook so my default
transport is a uucp smarthost.

Postfix sets the default_transport in postinst without the possibility
to override it. So whenever i do a reconfigure this setting will be broken.

My preferred way would be that this is a priority low debconf question with
a default on smtp.

flo@p5:~$ sudo postconf -n
alias_database = hash:/etc/aliases
alias_maps = hash:/etc/aliases
compatibility_level = 2
default_transport = uucp
inet_interfaces = all
inet_protocols = all
mailbox_command = procmail -a "$EXTENSION"
mailbox_size_limit = 0
mydestination = p5.zz.de, localhost
myhostname = p5.zz.de
mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8 [::ffff:127.0.0.0]/104 [::1]/128
myorigin = /etc/mailname
recipient_delimiter = +
relay_transport = smtp
relayhost = pax.zz.de
smtpd_relay_restrictions = permit_mynetworks permit_sasl_authenticated
