Either that, or use the debian-security-tracker mailing list to notify that there is soemthing which is not correctly tracked, then we can look at. https://lists.debian.org/debian-security-tracker/ It was quite concicence that I spotted your bugreport actually thanks to the CVE mentioning in the subject, and was looking at the ##debian-devel-changes IRC channel, so was able to followup.
