Until then (which will likely be a 1.0.8) this MP would fix the issue in Debian on 1.0.7: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/gdisk/-/merge_requests/2 Reverting this isn't too bad as it is the very same behavior that we have in 1.0.6-1.1 in testing.
