Package: pinfo
Version: 0.6.13-1.1
Followup-For: Bug #945229

Yes, but with a clean exit you're even lucky, hit on a broken manpage
link (it line breaks on all with a hyphen in it) and it's crashing
without even resetting your terminal, which is a bit rude but a
different issue. There is a setting for it in pinforc: HTTPVIEWER. Lynx
is just the tentative default. Looks like a reasonable choice when pinfo
was cooked up, it's been in Debian for 20 years. These days maybe
something like w3m might fare slightly better, but a lot of people don't
even have a text browser anymore. I use links. About the best one could
do I suppose is replacing it with 'sensible-browser' or 'www-browser',
it's what we have it for.

This is still a solid info browser though.
