Unfortunately, Hardkernel won't put any more effort into upgrading the Linux kernel for Odroid-C2 at the moment (according to https://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?t=39474#p298277). That is why I asked for cherrypicking the patch from Github for the systemd version in bullseye because I hoped that this would also be a suitable solution for this issue.

We are in deep freeze for bullseye atm.
I don't think this issue qualifies for a freeze exception, given that this happens with a non-Debian supported kernel.

That said, we will likely provide backports of newer systemd versions for bullseye. So you can pull them from there, once they are available.
