sorry for my late reply, was consumed by other stuff. In the meanwhile, given that bullseye is about to be released and I don't want to 'do things twice' (I'm already maintaining a backport at deb.progress-linux.org), I don't think it makes much sense in uploading a backport for buster to debian-backports anymore, thus closing this bug report. I'll consider doing bullseye-backports in the future. Regards, Daniel
