Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
While playing a video I turned the volume down (in pulseaudio). Once the video
ended, I pressed "replay" which led to the volume being reset to the original
level.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I removed the package `pulseaudio-equalizer`, in case, which didn't seem to
change anything. Same for `pavucontrol` (while writing this report) which has
no effect.
I heard about this bug from Firefox, it seems to still be open and a known
issue.
