One cannot use tightvncserver any more to display a Gnome desktop
nowadays, so I tested your scenario - i386 xtightvncveiwer on
Buster/amd64 tightvncserver on Bullseye - by accessing a Mate desktop.
Everything worked fine for me, I encountered no issues. Is this bug
still reproducible for you? If yes, how?
