Hi,
I intend to salvage the package fakechroot as it meets the following criteria:
- the last maintainer upload was in 2016
- the last four uploads were an NMUs (by myself) and there was no maintainer
upload since then
- the latest upstream release is not packaged (see #943400)
- there are QA issues:
* debian/watch cannot find the latest upstream version
* the Vcs-Git field points to a non-existing VCS
* there is 1 lintian error and 4 warnings
* the standards-version is at 3.9.8 (from 2016)
- the last activity I can see from Piotr is tagging #914995 as
"fixed-upstream" in March 2019
