Thank you very much for reporting. I fully agree with you. However, as you might notice in this bug report[1] that node-node-sass has been officially deprecated in favour of dart-sass. Which will take time to be packages I believe. But I'm unsure if it's worth to go for such a split and loop via the NEW queue again provided the package is not under active maintainance anymore. node-node-sass does not have many reverse dependencies either, thought. I'm personally not motivated to fix this bug, to be very honest, since my workload of things with higher importance is a lot already.
