dpkg-sig mangles the "Files" field of .changes files here:

However, it does not modify the "Checksums-*" fields as well. This
results in broken files. Note that the last maintainer upload for
dpkg-sig was in 2006[1] where there were no "Checksums-*" fields yet.
Besides this bug, I'm not sure if keeping dpkg-sig in the archive is
useful given it has not been maintained for well over a decade.
