The issue only appears on SMP systems. They build correctly on UP systems. This issue affects a number of package builds including gnutls and autogen. I often just manually build them on a UP system and upload to the archive, and I could do that with guile-2.2. As to where the issue really is ... I am not sure. Cheers Michael.
