As a minor bug it probably didn't need to be fixed so quickly :) PS: discussing this with the dpkg maintainer, at some point there might be an archive wide rebuild to figure out how many packages would FTBFS if the dpkg-gencontrol warning were made an error, or possibly the Debian build log scanner could get unorphaned and a check added. -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
