Package: libglib-perl
Version: 3:1.329.3-1build1

Two years ago [1], the developer-only tool pkg-config was added as dependency.
Because of that, every (even a minimal) Ubuntu Desktop contains that tool
nowadays, because its Update Manager depends on libgtk3-perl.

Does this package really use this tool at runtime? If yes, currently every user
even non-developers have to install pkg-config. Any possibility to avoid that?

The same bug report was created for the packages libcairo-perl and
libcairo-gobject-perl.
