Source: ayatana-indicator-messages Version: 0.9.0-1 Debian's ayatana-indicator-messages builds the same binary packages as the indicator-messages source package. indicator-messages is still in Ubuntu but has a higher version number. If you intend to replace Ubuntu's packages, you'll need to use a higher version number. Please then follow up by filing a bug requesting indicator-messages' removal from Ubuntu and then subscribe ubuntu-archive to your new bug.
