cherry-pick=

stable release managers will ack but a targetted fix is more likely to
be accepted.


Of course, that's why I suggested cherry-picking ;-)

Looking at the commit history, bisecting will be a waste of time,

I'm not reallly looking for a huge list of annotated commit messages asking questions.

Simply running git bisect and pointing out which commit fixes *this* particular issue, would be more helpful.
