Package: tracker.debian.org
Severity: wishlist

Currently the only place that testing migration mails are publicly
archived is on the tracker.debian.org news section. There are probably
other mails in a similar situation. It would be nice to be able to go
from such a mail in local email archives directly to a public web page
for those emails. The best option seems to be to be able to copy the
Message-ID header into a redirector service similar to the lists.d.o
one. That works by appending the Message-ID to the URL, or sending
GET/POST requests containing the Message-ID. In addition there are
options to show only links to the found message(s) or to just redirect
to the first found message. When a message is not found, the proposed
redirector should give a 404 page similar to the lists.d.o one; linking
to the lists.d.o redirector and the MARC and Mail-Archive.com ones and
also linking to the Wikipedia page of other Message-ID redirectors.

Sorry, no match found for message-id not-a-working-messageid

It may take a few minutes until a new message is available in the
   archive.

The archive is updated every 20 minutes.

You can try searching MARC or Mail-Archive.com

Other search engines for Message-IDs can be found at Wikipedia
