Hi, You can either depend on it or do a runtime check for the new function to see if the feature is available - whatever floats your boat. :) When you concluded the feature is available, you would then call get_non_binnmu_date_epoch instead of get_source_date_epoch to obtain the value for SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH. You may want to do a `$ENV{SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH} = get_non_binnmu_date_epoch()` depending on whether you call third-party tools that use the variable. Thanks, ~Niels
