Hi Reiner, thanks for you proposal.
I see problems when the configuration in multiple config files contradict each other in content. I fear it may not always be easy to detect these problems. A change to read multiple file may break a lot of exisiting config spaces for other users. Currently I see no major benefit, and I have other ideas to work on, so do not expect this to be implemented sometime. -- regrads Thomas
