There is still the possibility that someone remotely connects to a
Debian system running an older tmux on their host. But that is probably
not such a common use case, and I guess we can tell these users to set
their TERM variable to something else than screen-256color if for some
reason they cannot upgrade their tmux version.
I intend to drop this patch in the next upload, thanks for the
suggestion.
