Hi, sorry for having ignored your bug for this long. I can only say that I'm sorry for having not replied earlier and I guess I just missed your mail because my daughter was born February last year so in April 2021 I was just completely elsewhere with my head. Sorry again.

Would it fit your use-case to have some configuration options like this in your
~/.sbuildrc:
$unshare_bind_mounts = [ { directory => '/home/path/outside', mountpoint =>
'/path/inside' } ];
