Dear Adrian, Many thanks for doing this! It will help keep things ticking over for the time being. I've been in discussion with the upstream Spyder developers, and they would like us to wait a few months before upgrading Spyder until they have released 5.3.0, as 5.2.x crashes on quitting when using the current PyQt5 (which is a little unfortunate). So this will help for now. (Though as python-language-server is also due for removal due to #1002351 and #999524, this fix may not be sufficient to keep Spyder in testing.) Once Spyder 5.3.0 is uploaded, we will be requesting the removal of pyls-black from the archive, as it has been superseded by pylsp-black. Best wishes, Julian
