Package: python3-binaryornot
Version: 0.4.4+dfsg-4
Severity: normal

Hi,

Upstream seems to have made a mistake and somehow tagged the wrong git
commit with the 0.4.4 tag. (It was reported as an issue in 2020.)
The version tagged on GitHub as 0.4.4 still says "0.4.3" as the
version number in setup.py and __init__.py, so Python still thinks
it's version 0.4.3. The following commit (on the same day) set the
version numbers correctly, and that is the version that was uploaded
to PyPI. There have also been a few commits since then, but it looks
like there will never be a version 0.4.5.

One way of addressing this bug would be to upload a new version
0.4.4+dfsg2-1 with the corrected source package. An alternative could
be to have a version 0.4.4+git....+dfsg-1 incorporating more recent
commits.

Best wishes,

   Julian
