Hi, thank you for replying. In general, password confirmation is useful for detecting typos which would otherwise lead to creation of archives that cannot be opened because the password is wrong.
I understand your reluctance to diverge from the original 7-Zip code which could make the maintanence harder in the future. So maybe I ask upstream for this feature?
