Dear Maintainer, PipeWire 0.3.48 introduced an issue that causes all OpenAL applications to hang and fail to produce sound. The issue can be reproduced easily with openal-info. While it does manage to display available audio devices, it will report the following errors: AL lib: (EE) ALCpulsePlayback_connectStream: Stream did not get ready: Timeout !!! Failed to open default device !!! Other OpenAL application will print similar errors. Please apply the fix posted in https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/wireplumber/-/issues/213 Thank you very much. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.16.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/24 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages pipewire depends on: ii init-system-helpers 1.62 ii libpipewire-0.3-modules 0.3.48-1 ii pipewire-bin 0.3.48-1 pipewire recommends no packages. pipewire suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
