Package: mate-utils Version: 1.26.0-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
When mate-screenshot is used with the option Select area to grab (when using Shift+Print Screen), the screenshot includes the overlay drawn when selecting the area. This is perfectly visible when using marco window with picom (any variety: GLX, Hybrid, Xrender), where the selection overlay in current version of mate-tweak (Installed: 22.04.4-1) is greenish. I'm opening the bug on mate-utils because I think mate-screenshot should handle this situation better. I don't think mate-tweak should do anything different - the overlay looks nice as it currently is. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'testing-debug'), (1, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_USER, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages mate-utils depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 2.36.0-3 ii libc6 2.33-7 ii libcairo2 1.16.0-5 ii libcanberra-gtk3-0 0.30-8 ii libcanberra0 0.30-8 ii libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-0 2.42.6+dfsg-2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.70.4-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.24.33-1 ii libgtop-2.0-11 2.40.0-2 ii libice6 2:1.0.10-1 ii libmate-panel-applet-4-1 1.26.2-1 ii libmatedict6 1.26.0-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.50.4+ds-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.50.4+ds-1 ii libsm6 2:1.2.3-1 ii libudisks2-0 2.9.4-1 ii libx11-6 2:1.7.2-2+b1 ii libxext6 2:1.3.4-1 ii mate-desktop-common 1.26.0-1 ii mate-utils-common 1.26.0-1 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-2 mate-utils recommends no packages. mate-utils suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
