[ Long time since this bug is open, replying to this with needed info, on behalf of Utkarsh and JS team ] Name: debian-js Rationale: Debian has over a thousand Javascript and related packages, most of which are maintained by the Debian Javascript team. Having this mailing list will help in better collaboration and discuss regarding upload plans for key packages which have a number of reverse-deps. It will also enable our users to have discussions regarding JS packages in a more effective mannger. We are currently using a alioth list, but due to high volumes of processing mails and other issues (like breaking DKIM sigs), we wish to request a l.d.o for the same.
