I think this is a description of the same bug as #948691. If that's the case, then it should be fixed by thunderbird versions based on 1:91.7.0-2, including the 1:91.7.0-2~deb11u1 and 1:91.7.0-2~deb10u1 versions in bullseye-security and buster-security. Please check whether this is still reproducible. https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=948691#52 has the steps I used to reproduce this. smcv
