Package: xserver-xorg-video-ati Version: 1:6.5.8.0-1 Severity: wishlist the chip-id-override does of course fix the problem; it works fine with 0x3150 and 0x5460. i get hardware acceleration when i add the chip-id to ..../kernel/drivers/char/drm/drm_pciids.h (i have already reported the chip-id as mentioned in 'drm_pciids.h') when having dri enabled in xorg.conf, resuming from kernel-interna software-suspend does not work - it seems to be a xorg issue.
greetings from austria --------------------------------------------------------------- well, though i think i can't fix that, but i believe i can make a workaround! ******************** curt manucredo [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16.12 Locale: LANG=de_AT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_AT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages xserver-xorg-video-ati depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii xserver-xorg-core 1:1.0.2-7 X.Org X server -- core server xserver-xorg-video-ati recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
