Package: python3-fuse Version: 2:1.0.2-1+b1 Severity: grave Anything that uses the "write", "setxattr", or "ioctl" method is broken with Python 3.10 due to the change described at the top of https://docs.python.org/3/whatsnew/3.10.html#id2. Among other things, this breaks the binfmt-support test suite.
https://github.com/libfuse/python-fuse/issues/41 already existed for this, and I've proposed https://github.com/libfuse/python-fuse/pull/43 which fixes binfmt-support's tests. An upload of that would be great so that my CI works again. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.15.0-23-generic (SMP w/4 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_FIRMWARE_WORKAROUND, TAINT_OOT_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: unable to detect Versions of packages python3-fuse depends on: ii fuse3 [fuse] 3.10.5-1 ii libc6 2.33-7 ii libfuse2 2.9.9-5 ii python3 3.10.4-1 python3-fuse recommends no packages. python3-fuse suggests no packages. -- no debconf information Thanks, -- Colin Watson [cjwat...@debian.org]
