Package: firefox Version: 1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.1-1 Tags: patch Various programs which embed the gecko rendering engine don't work properly in our setup because the initial window visibility is wrongly calculated, as described in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312998 https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/40320
We have applied to our firefox package the `updated fix' from the Mozilla report and this has fixed our problem, which included malfunctions in gecko-sharp*, monodevelop, liferea and devhelp. You may already have applied this patch, but if not I thought you might like to know about it. It's not clear to me whether I should be filing against the Debian firefox or mozilla package; I don't use any gtkmozembed applications in my Debian installs so I'm afraid I don't know which of firefox or mozilla is used for gtkmozembed in Debian. I hope that this message is still useful. Regards, Ian. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
